We're Almost There....

I got a call today that the seller's bank approved the short sale I bid on in October! So we're off & running! Closing is tentatively set for 02.06, so keep your fingers crossed!

It's a Wrap!!

These photos were taken yesterday. As you can see the outside is wrapped. The front siding is there (above pickup truck) and so is the tar paper for the roof.

The inside views are from the southeast corner (Great Room) toward the kitchen, den and bedrooms.

The basement floor has not yet been poured (lots of water apparently pumped out this week), but the basement steps are in. Enjoy.

More house construction

Sean took these photos yesterday around 3 PM. They were pumping water out of the basement and as you can see some windows have been installed(Front bedroom) and the basement stairs are sitting inside the garage. The window next to the garage is the den.

We're ROOFING.....

Erin took these pictures today. They're moving right along in Powell, Ohio. It appears that the rain that we had earlier in the week didn't hold them up too much. The crew leader told Erin that they expect to start the plumbing and pour the basement floor/cap on the crawl space next week.

Jones Family Christmas

Seasons Greetings!

We would like everyone to join us for the Jones Family Christmas on Monday December 26 any time after 2 p.m. We will be having ham, turkey, yummy mac and cheese, and lots of cookies so people can eat whenever. Houston we have . . . walls

Cuatro amigos working today. These photos were taken between 10 and 10:30 this morning. It was gray and overcast so I imagine that they made lots of progress today. When I left they were working on the rest of the back wall and the wall to the south. Roof trusses had been delivered so if the weather holds I hope that the house will be under roof by the end of next week.

Deck the Halls with...a deck!

Tres amigos were working on our house this afternoon when I arrived (about 3:15). As you can see they are working on the deck and expected to have that done yet today. If the weather holds (rain is expected) they hope to get the walls up tomorrow and then the roof trusses on Friday. The sales person that we have been working with told me that the expected completion date is 3-16-12.

The 2 rear views and the view of the hole #2 of the golf course are from the hill behind the house. Lots of mud around so couldn't really get that close-didn't want my hiking boots to come off in all the mud. Hopefully more pictures will be posted on Friday.

Also-while I was there a train went by. Steve don't forget my engineer's hat!!
