Yay!

Hey everybody!
A little over a month ago, I forced myself to schedule my national massage therapy exam. I specifically chose the week that Dave would be in Florida for spring training so I wouldn't have any distractions. [He's normally a nice distraction, but this was a biggg exam!] I studied and studied, even taking flashcards to work. But after much anxiety and stress, I took it yesterday andddddd I PASSED!!!
It's so awesome knowing that I don't have to think about it anymore! I can read library books now! And pay attention to the classes that I'm taking!
So as of now I need to mail in a few more applications before I can take my state exam in late April. After that I'm offically a Licensed Massage Therapist!
Thanks for everyone's support over these past couple years! And Aunt Donna, thanks for the package! I got it Wednesday so you timed it perfectly. I'm going to use the bubbles with the kids on Tuesday.

As a side note, Dave hung out at a bar with Adam Jones the other night! Lucky bum! And yes, Mr. Jones does chew bubblegum while drinking his beer.

New Job Opportunity

Hey everyone! I got some exciting news last night and thought I would share it with all of you. A few weeks ago I applied to work for an organization called the Coalition for Christian Outreach, which is an organization that does campus ministry at many different college campuses. Last night I found out that I was accepted into the organization, which was incredibly exciting news for me. At this point, the next step is to find out what positions are available and interview for this positions in particular, so a lot of patience is necessary. It was exciting for me just to get accepted into the organization, though, because that is what I have been praying for. Just thought I'd share my excitement and good news with all of you!

Way to go, Carl!

As many of you know, Carl was working at the Hotel Hershey for most of last year and part of this year, on many different renovation projects. He recently received this letter from Nevin Cooley, the President of High Construction:

Not only did we provide this customer with an extraordinarily high level of satisfaction, but we also reinforced the relationship that we have been buidling with the Hershey organization, which I hope will provide us with additional opportunities to serve them in the future.
