Another rave review for North Star!
One of my friends currently on post-doc at Nationwide Children's returned to Baltimore to defend her dissertation this past week. When I saw her she immediately asked me about Sean and told me that the North Star veggie burgers are the best she's ever had!
I told her to keep her eye out for you, Sean, at the Short North restaurant and to say hi if she sees you. (Her name is Lindsay.) :)

And to add to the post- since Nick and I were only there for breakfast and the delicious pancakes, it makes me want to return to Columbus to give these veggie burgers a try!
Small world to think that you know 2 people from MD who have visited the cafe in Columbus, OH where your cousin is a managing partner!
The world may be small, but Northstar is ENORMOUS!
Thanks for the post, Linda. I'm glad she likes the burgers; right now they feature locally raised beets from the farm where Liz and I pick vegetables.
Today we're doing the fall menu switch...busy busy busy.
I also met someone from Columbus who when asked if he had ever been to Northstar, answered "absolutely it's my wife and mines favorite place to eat.".
I met him at work and he was known in Columbus as Mr. Basement or The Basement King. Something like that.
He said he was a basement waterproofer.
