Denver, Colorado:
Four members of The Jones Clan have sucessfully completed their journey to the Mile High City. Here is a photo of the assembled Clan, Michael C., Erin, Sean and Ali at base camp, Columbus, Ohio. So far all travelling has been on time and without significant delay.
There shall be two hockey games tomorrow and one on Saturday. All other plans are to be determined based on the weather and our moods.

Is Sean wearing a purse?
It's the Frozen Four. NCAA hockey's version of basketball's Final Four. Uncle Mike and I first went four years ago when it was in Columbus. Last year it was in St. Louis and Uncle Mike, Sean and my dad went. The year before it was in Milwaukee and Uncle Mike and Sean went. Next year it's in D.C.

I am most certainly wearing my "man-purse" or "murse" as we sometimes call it. I've had it for a few years and it is technically a laptop case. Very stylish I assure you.

Not to worry Ian. Ali flew solo to Columbus. She stayed with Erin.
Michael C. was a fine house guest. He was a little disturbed by the lack of a morning paper, but I think the donuts soothed him...at least a little.
He is a creature of habit. Can't miss with donuts.
Seems there's accumulating snow in the forecast out there. Their rental car is a PT Cruiser.
Sean mentioned the snow this morning before they left. I'm sure they will manage just fine. Sean was able to maneuver us around Maine in 12" of snow with a Nissan Versa so I have confidence in their safety.
BTW, Sean Jones, what's with this color palette?

The game last night was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Irish won 5-4 in sudden death overtime & it was INSANE!! Wish you all could have seen it!
Ok, & yeah. Side note.... your lovely niece (that would be me) is now the proud owner of a $105 speeding ticket that a Westerville police officer so graciously thought to give me Wednesday morning on the way to Sean & Liz's.... ::Sigh:: He had the nerve to ask me if I was in a hurry....!
