At dinner tonight Sean said some particularly ridiculous things that I thought the rest of you may enjoy...
In regards to the sloppy teller at the local Huntington branch: "If I worked at a bank I'd go from light starch to medium starch immediately."
In regards to paint swatches fanned out on the kitchen table: "Michael C. always said that paint swatches were trouble. He's never been more right than he is right now."
And finally, in regards to me scribbling madly at his goofy quips: "What...What is this...What are you writing down?!"
Enjoy, dear family.

You should see that bank teller, he's a slob AND he just got a promotion! I also said that if I worked at bank we wouldn't listen to 'refreshing light rock' on the radio and we wouldn't give out free gift cards to Target for opening an account either! We'd count beans and get our fingers dirty with currency, like REAL BANKERS.
Bah humbug.
OK...that's why you don't work at the bank:-) Now about paint....
Sean, take this from someone who knows....
Get the brushes and roller ready.
Oh don't you worry, we have already painted two thirds of the upstairs (in the last week) and are preparing the final third for completion when Sean gets back from vacation. The paint swatches are for the EXTERIOR! No more royal blue. :)
uh oh! that sounds like ladders to me.
As my bassoon professor used to say, "When did I lose control?..."
Right after "I Do"
Sean, my dear brother, you lost control the minute you bought the house. My advise is just to sit back & let Liz have fun cuz I don't think there's much you're going to win.....
Haha, I agree about the refreshing light rock.
Hey! When have I ever led you astray?
LOL Liz you never have!
Ya'll have NO idea how hard it was to go to the bank today.
This has been entertaining! Go through the drive up window! What color for the outside?
We'll not mention the color of the outside of the house as it is to be determined.
I have my favorites, but it will require a little gentle cajoling before a decision has been made.
Shall I weigh in on the lovely photo?
At least I don't look like Phil Collins
So true.....
