So....who's got snow?

The 1-3" that was in the forecast turned into at least 7". No school - #6; make-up day is President Day.

It's certainly been interesting the past 2 days.... & I'm glad I'm getting the use out of the 4-wheel drive on my car! Although it's still a little hard to believe that Franklin County (where Columbus is) is STILL under a Level 2 snow emergency, but the county I live in (which usually hits Level 3 pretty quickly) has NO snow emergency....

Here in Balto Co we got about 1 to 2 inches of snow on Tuesday. Then the sleet and freezing rain hit that night and into Wednesday. So we had our first 2 snow days of the year (even though there wasn't really that much snow.) Today (Thursday) we had a 2 hour delay as well. Streets in the city near school were still really icy this am, but looked much better this pm. Since I have a miserable cold, I was glad to get some extra rest and to not have to strain my voice. How are things in Ohio now?

2 hr delay here but the wind has picked up and there's blowing/drifting. Sure don't want to be closed tomorrow - it's Marty's last day.
Erin, Sean/Liz and my sister got the worst of this storm. Supposedly there's another in the works for next week.
Everyone stay safe.....

Things in Ohio are still about the same.... we've had more snow last night/this morning.... I think some places got up to 2 feet. Roads are still iffy in some areas; I don't think my 4-wheel drive has turned itself off since Tuesday night!

I cleaned off my car yesterday and it looked like an all white layer cake. There was a layer of snow, then a 1/2" thick layer of ice, then more snow, then another layer of ice, then more snow. All in all my car was under about 7-9 inches. I almost took a photo, but I didn't want to track slush through the house trying to retrieve the camera.
