And Then There Were Scallops

And by that I mean the pretty little scoopy edges, not the edible mollusk. The first round of Gallery Idol is being scrapped and we are moving on to a new theme (you can all stop voting on the patriotic card-I really appreciate that BTW). This one is scallops. I shall be in my room cutting semi-circles out of everything in case anyone needs me.

This sounds more to your liking/in your comfort zone. Let us know when we can begin voting.
Can you convert the patriotic cards into b-day cards for Nick for the next 4 years?!

Nice idea Mom! And why did they scrap the voting Liz?

They decided to scrap the round once they realized the voting wasn't set up like it was supposed to be. It was supposed to be set up for one person one vote (per round) and for some reason that wasn't working. They forgot to tell anyone how to vote so people were voting incorrectly (clicking the "favorite" button instead). The round got postponed 3 times because of technical difficulties. It was overall a discouraging situation. So we'll start fresh on Monday with all new projects and a clearer voting system. I'll make sure I know all the details before I post it here. This is supposed to be FUN!

I need to step in here and thank everyone for voting and for spreading the word. When they cut off voting Liz was well within the top 10, maybe even the top 5 the last I remember counting. It will be a few weeks of voting if she can stay in it, and all of your efforts to tell friends, co-workers and anyone else about it...Liz and I really appreciate it. This could open the door to her being published in this magazine and most of the ladies she is up against are currently being published so the competition is TOUGH. Keep it up and thank you!
